Destined by the Truths chap 2

Chapter 2
Requiem sighed sitting on a crate far. far away from where Luke and the others were. She had to keep tabs on them for a personal reason. In her hand was a pendent that was shut tight. ‘I’ve got to find a better way to make amends for my sins.’ She got off the crate and began to roam around the city in caution hoping to find and kill him. At the Daath church the weddings were about to take place within an hour. In a room the guys were changing. Luke was more nervous than Asch he forgot how to put on a tie correctly actually he never learned. Asch had his hair braided and already in his tux watching Guy help Luke with his tie. “C’mon Luke you’re going to be fine trust me!” Luke gulped looking into his reflection. “Yea but you’re not the one getting married Guy. I’m suppose to be nervous aren’t I?” he turned to his friend after the tie was on strait.

Guy chuckled wearing a tux as well only he had on the vest and not the jacket. He smiled patting Luke on the back. “This is normal Luke trust me you’re going to be alright Asch is getting married the same day anyway just stick with him.” Asch then stood up looking  at the two. “What are you crazy? That replica will mess up everything, he can do it himself.” Guy sighed. “Listen Asch you need to support Luke in this too I mean it’s a wedding cut him some slack, I remember someone was muttering very nervously about not messing up last night as I recall it was coming from you Asch fon Farbe.” Guy grinned. Oh he got him to shut up quickly.

Asch slightly blushed huffing while crossing his arms turning away from the two. Luke grinned and laughed. “You? Asch? Nervous? That I find hard to believe.” Luke laughed hard as Asch’s blush spread and grew a deeper red.  There was a knock at the door. Asch took this opportunity to ignore the two and opened the door to show Florien smiling and in a white suit. “Hi guys, how’s everything going?” Asch just sat back down on his chair and let the replica and Guy explain. Luke noticed someone was missing. “Hey where’s Jade? He said he’d be here?”  Florien shrugged. “I passed him as I was entering the castle. I asked him where he was going and he responded, “To the inn” it seems he’s not feeling well. So he told me to apologize to you two because he might miss the wedding but he wishes the best.” Guy groaned rubbing the back of his neck. ‘Is the morning sickness really that bad?’ Guy hung his head walking to the door sighing.

“I’ll be back.” Luke grabbed Guy’s shoulder. “Wait what about the wedding? You’re the best man.” Luke looked terrified Asch nodded. “I hate to say it but I agree the wedding starts in an twenty minutes you sure you’re going to make it?” Guy smirked giving them a thumbs up. “Yup I’ll be back to make sure everything runs smoothly.” He then ran out the door with a nervous look on his face.

Requiem looked around a smile on her face. She wore sunglasses instead of her mask as to not draw attention to herself. “So this is the place? Mamma and Dad really were saying something then.” She bought an apple and nibbled a bit while continuing her walk. “Such a glorious day today especially a wedding.” Someone said. Requiem turned her attention to a couple of men who were agreeing.

“Yes I hear that the fon Farbe twins are marrying today one is marrying Princess Natalia lucky devil.” Requiem mentally slapped herself. ‘Of course I’m such a fool he’ll strike at the wedding where everyone will be damn.’ She tossed her apple in the nearest trashcan and looked up to see a man around her age sitting cross-legged on the highest flagpole of the castle. His red eyes glaring at her. He had short stringy dark hair, the bangs almost covering his face. He wore a black shirt over was silver chest armor, silver gauntlets on his arms. Normal dark jeans with leg gauntlets and army boots. He grinned as his cape blew in the wind. Requiem muttered a curse and ran in the direction of the cathedral.

Not thinking she removed her sunglasses and eventually ran pass Guy Cecil who slowed to a stopped and looked at the girl who kept running then jumped high into the air reaching the grounds of the cathedral. In awe of this girl's amazing abilities Guy remembered where he was going. He made it to the inn and walked in the room that Jade was staying in to find  Jade sitting  flat on the bed the trash can by his bedside,  Guy lightly knocked on the door.

“Hey there Jade are you alright?” The necromancer, looked at  Guy and smiled. “I’m fine Guy, thanks for asking.” His response was weak, as his voice was almost gone. Guy smelled a sweet yet sour smell, He peeked real quick in the trash can to see nothing but vomit. No wonder Jade sounded the way he did. Jade turned to his side, curling up a bit as if he was cold. Guy sat on the bed rubbing Jade’s back. “Do you  feel well enough to see the others get married?” Jade thought for a while…it wasn’t long though he nodded. “I will, but I stil feel a tad on the queasy side,but it’ll pass.” Guy smiled huggin Jade. “Don’t worry about anything, I’m going to be there for you all the way through this pregnancy.” Guy then placed a kiss on Jade’s forehead.

Jade blushed and checked his watch. “Guy what time did you say the weddings start?” Guy was hugging jade again while he answered. “In 20 minutes I have all the time to be here.” Jade smirked one of his scarastic smirks. He pulled Guy away kissing him passionately, as he did , Jade slowly raised the watch up for Guy to see. The swordsman opened his eye closing it then reopened it again in shock. The two let go. “It seems you have less than a minute now love…” jade said. Guy gasped and  sprinted to the church, making it in time to see his friends get married.

Requiem hid in the shadows as to not draw attention to the guards and walked into the door that led to a hall. She eyed the steps and climbed up to see dead guards. “Damn his soul.” She growled and ran to where she heard clinging and clashing of swords. Two guards were fighting off a monster. Requiem summoned a fonic spell. “Blessed Drops!” the huge bubbles then exploded on top of the monster instantly killing it. She then bended down to help a fallen guard up. “Are you two alright?” she asked kindly, they nodded. One gasped. “Miss your eyes…” Requiem crossed her arms irritated.

Did he just say something about her eyes?  “What about them?”  She hissed. The guards cowered afraid that Requiem was a demon. “Never mind.” Requiem placed her mask on. “Good never speak of my eyes again understood?” they nodded. The girl stood tall and sighed. “Now have either of you seen a boy with short brown hair?” she asked sweetly.

The two pointed down a hall. “He ran that way.” Requiem cracked her knuckles. “Alright then.” She then left. As the vows were said, Guy sighed wondering where that girl ended up to. “And now I pronounce you man and wife you may kiss your brides.” Asch and Luke grabbed the girls and kissed them passionately as everyone in the room hollered in excitement and also some whooping. Jade was on the side of Guy.

“So did I miss anything?” Guy flinched. “Geez where did you come from?” Jade didn’t answer he just watched the couple walk down the isle. “Isn’t love grand?” Jade asked out of the blue. Guy shrugged. “I dunno I guess it is.” Jade chuckled and walked on. Guy was the last in the room. He turned around having thought he herd something, shrugged and left pondering what Jade just said. The guest were getting ready to leave only to hear someone scream, Guy looked and saw a man get slain. “That’s right, give me your blood.” A voice said killing those in his way. He saw Guy and chiuckled

A sword was thrown at Guy. He immediately caught the blade. “Show yourself!” The person walked up to be the boy with red eyes. “My name is Nocturne and I am to kill the ones who defy the gods and give their bloods as attonement.” He hissed charging towards Guy readying himself was about to remove his sword from his sheath. “NOW GIVE ME YOUR BLOOD AS YOUR ATTONEMENT!”  Nocturne then summoned ‘stalagmite’ which in turn caused some chips of the ceiling to fall because of the sharp almost piercing edge of the rocks causing was a small crack to appear, as the clashing of swords were ringing throughout the room.

Unbeknownst to Guy the crack in the celeing got bigger to finally have debris fall in front of the two as beam were swinging down hitting Guy’s collarbone hard breaking it in half also causing him to fall as dust rose. Asch, Luke and the others appeared hearing the commotion. “Hey what the hell is going on !” Asch demanded. No one LIVES if anyone ruins the fon Farbe weddings. The red heads saw this  boy and then readied themselves to attack him. Jade ran over to Guy helping him up.  “Are you alright?” Guy winched as Jade touched the broken bone. “We need to get you out of here.” Jade suggested before Guy could say anything.

Requiem looked towards where a crash was herd and sasw a hole, she looked down and saw the battlefield,  she jumped down unsheathing her swords and rushed into the dust. The only thing that the gang could hear was the clashing of swords. “Demon Fang!” Requiem yelled as a bright flash was seen at the energy wave made it’s hit. From the flashes of light and casting spells, something was very funny the way Requiem and Nocturne held their swords and their attacks. The dust settled as Guy’s eyes widened seeing their stances. It was as if they were trained in the similar manner as him and yet trained as if by Van ‘It couldn’t be? Could it?’ he shook that thought out as he got up and drew his sword. Jade tried to stop him but Guy only held his broken arm up strait as it shook uncontrollably. “Guy I’m going to fight.” Guy shook his head “Jade I don’t want you fighting till after the baby’s born got it?” he was dead serious a rare anger in his eyes as he watched the two continue to fight. The others looked at Jade and Guy in shock.

Jade grabbed Guy’s broken arm and twisted it behind his back breaking it even worse. “And you are in no condition to fight either Guy, it seems you arm is broken even worse than your collarbone.” Guy gritted his teeth at the surging pain and he just spilled the beans too. Asch and Luke ran in the battle only to draw Nocturne’s attention to them. Requiem noticed this as she tried to stop  them. “YOU FOOLS!” and ran after them He raised a hand at the two as a thin fog circled around them. “Please leave us be you are interfering in our conversation so go away.” He closed the palm. “ELETRO WRAP” he yelled as the fog closed wrapping themselves around the Fon Farbe’s electrocuting them. Asch and Luke gritted their teeth of the pain and tried to move only they were stuck their bodies frozen.

Requiem found this chance to attack. She threw a sword at the teen boy while rushing up to him slashing his right shoulder to only have the steel sword stuck in his body as the wound closed up. He grinned grabbing her sword bending it till a snap sound was heard thus breaking her weapon. “Sorry but you really should be more careful about your surroundings.” He grinned. Nocturne snapped his finger thus trapping Requiem by keeping her to the ground her body frozen. “Damn you why are you doing this? I thought you would at least have sense enough to know what is right and wrong!” she yelled. Nocturne just placed a hand on her head. “Foolish thoughts my dear who knew that those words you said you despised are coming out of your mouth.” Requiem lowered her head in shame. “Your right to think I thought you could change, after what our backgrounds are you are no different than I was…and so.” She raised her head up a grin playing on her lips. “I want you to get the shock of your life…Indignation!” Nocturne looked up to see a huge lighting bolt strike him down Requiem along with it.

With the spell gone, Requiem fell back crashing down onto the floor unconscious. Asch and Luke both unfrozen, Luke gingerly picked up Requiem holding her bridal style while Asch ran up to the other unconscious boy only his body was slowly evaporating into the air till he was no more. “Damn it he got away!” Asch growled wondering where he went. “Asch forget it we need to get these two to a hospital. Asch giving up for now sighed and agreed. “Alright fine.” The group left the chapel and apologized to Florien and Anise about the mess in the sanctuary.

Anise was in a fit of anger and rage and took it out on Guy by making him freak out badly to hide behind Jade regardless of a broken arm. “Please go away!” Jade walked away. “Have fun Guy.” He chuckled walking to the plane. “N-no don’t go!” he didn’t listen. After thirty seconds Anise then decided she had enough and calmed down back to her cheery self. Asch, Luke, Natalia and Tear changed clothes before leaving. As the Albeore took flight Jade felt a tad sick and asked Asch to pilot the plane to Grand Cokuma where Guy would get his arm fixed and also place the girl Requiem in Jade’s care for now to see what she knows.

Guy just looked at Requiem as she was stretched out on a foldable bed with a blanket covering her body her eyes closed. He just looked behind him making sure the girl wouldn’t pull anything suspicious like that guy Nocturne. Luke saw Jade sit behind Guy looking out the window. He got up at sat next to the Necromancer “Jade Guy said you’re…” Jade chuckled. “Luke it’s true I’m pregnant.” Luke almost jumped out of his seat. “Wait what?” Jade dragged the replica down sit back in his damn seat. “Yes now hush I’ll explain when we land alright?” Luke nodded then grinned. “Well it looks like we’ll be at another wedding.” The coronal raised a suspicious brow a tad afraid of where this was going.

“What do you mean?” Luke just continued to grin. “You an Guy getting married!” Jade just slapped Luke upside his head blushing madly, getting up from his seat and sitting next to Guy who was also blushing madly. The other’s also blushing madly. The two exchanged glances from one another only to look away. Both having secret feelings for each other. “Oh the Coronal getting married? This’ll be a perfect way of keeping Peony away from you nagging about finding yourself someone to settle down with.” The girl grinned sitting across from Guy and Jade. Jade sighed feeling sick again. “Anise do me a favor.” She smiled again. “Anything for you Coronal.” Jade was holding his head as if he had an upcoming headache. With his usual smile he responded. “Shut-up.” He calmly said and she did till they landed that is.
